General

The control panel of the Showtec PSA-16A3S power distributor comes fitted with helpful digital voltage and ampere meters. The voltage and consumption per phase is immediately displayed via digital LED screens while a 5-pin CEE 16A port plus six schuko outputs have been installed around the back (with an extra schuko socket at the front). The solid metal housing has been finished in a muted grey, can be mounted in a 19-inch rack with ease and takes up just 2U of space, giving you streamlined power management in return.

Wrote the following about Showtec PSA-16A3S Power Distributor

Wij hadden regelmatig last van problemen met stroomuitval, met name bij de wat grotere evenenten.

Eeuwige discussies met leveranciers van de bar of generators “dat we te veel op een fase hadden zitten”

Ook kwamen we vaak in situaties waar de spanning erg schommelde (tussen 215 en 235...) meeste apparatuur heeft daar geen last van maar delicaat spul als dsp’s en audio converters kunnen soms rare kuren krijgen.

Die discussie is voorbij! Nu draaien we test, zien gelijk of er issues zijn en hebben zichtbaar bewijs van een keurige fase belasting.

Alleen al voor het gezeur het geld meer dan waard.

Tip: koop een simpel en ondiep 19” rackje (b.v. Van innox) en zet er een rijtje powercon connector onder in een 1u d-size plaatje.. 380 erop, direct je powercons erin en gaan!

Wij hebben er nu 3 in gebruik en ook de grote broer (32A) aangeschaft. Helemaal blij!
