D’Addario’s EXP26 string set is a set of six strings for your acoustic steel-string guitar.The wound strings are EXP-coated to prevent corrosion. This protection will lead to a three or four times longer life-span. The strings are made of high-quality steel and phosphor bronze for a bright and sparkling sound.

Plus chères que les Martin M140 que j'utilisais jusqu'à maintenant mais le son n'a rien à voir...
Un peu déroutant au début (changement de marque, de composant, de tirant...) la qualité du son est très bonne.
Essayées en concert pour la première fois samedi dernier... Impeccable !!!
Joli son, bon équilibre des fréquences et bonne tenue d'accord.
Je pense que je vais garder ce choix pendant pendant quelques temps...

Wat een goede klank! Niet te helder/schel en niet te dof. Voor mijn Folk gitaar zijn ze echt perfect. Voor mijn Jumbo gitaar zijn de bronze snaren wellicht beter.
De snaren blijven ook lang mooi klinken!

Na een aantal jaren met Elixer te hebben gespeeld op mijn Yamaha LJX6C acoustische gitaar (af en toe iets anders geprobeert, maar ivm levensduur toch weer Elixer) nu eens de gecoate EXP26 er op gezet. Ik vond de klank, wat de Yamaha moest hebben er net niet uitkomen. De eerste aanslag met de Dadario: wát een leven in die gitaar! Dit is wat ik zocht! Zowel versterkt als alleen de eigen klank, heerlijk diep vol laag, gebalanceerde midden tonen en goed aanwezig hoog, zonder scherp te zijn. Ook op de blend met de interne microfoon is de klank heerlijk! Alsof het spelen een stuk gemakkelijker gaat! Nu nog zien wat de lifetime doet. Binnekort mijn electrische gitaren er van voorzien.

Après avoir essayé Elixir, Taylor ou autres, ces cordes me donne le meilleur rapport sonorité et durée.
D'ailleur vous devrez les changer quand la note ne tiendra plus, car aucun viellissement visible.
L'enrobage et au top.
parfait équilibre des basses médiums graves pour ma guitare.
