Behringer designed the B1 series to meet the demands of their customers, who wanted to see more functions on an active speaker for better multifunctionality. The B115D is part of that series, and is a powerful 15-inch active speaker equipped with multiple inputs and a unique wireless option that works seamlessly with the ULM-USB wireless microphone system. The only thing you still need is the USB dongle from the ULM-USB microphone series; once you plug it in you'll have direct access to a wireless microphone!

Connection possibilities of the B115D

The B115D can also be used without the wireless option, in which case it transforms into the ideal PA speaker equipped with two inputs that can be used for microphones or line signals. Connections are available by way of an XLR or a 6.35mm jack plug. Furthermore, a two-band EQ is available so you can adjust the sound. In such a way, you can turn down the base to increase clarity, or turn it up for that groovy club feel. To complete the picture you'll find a mix output for looping the speakers via XLR.

Lightweight components and amp module

Behringer has equipped this speaker with a rugged 1,000W amplification module to optimally drive the 15-inch woofer and 1.35-inch tweeter. Any excess has been cut away in order to keep the construction as lightweight as possible, resulting in an active 15-inch speaker that doesn't even weigh 18 kg!
