Meet the largest active speaker from the Artis series. The Artis 15A is ideal if you want to create a compact speaker system with a lot of power. In addition, this speaker can be easily expanded upon with 18-inch subwoofers. It comes with an internal amplifier module too, meaning that it only needs a power socket and it’s good to go. The Artis 15A can be used as PA-speaker, middle and high frequency speaker or floor monitor.

Components and functions of the Artis 15A

The 15-inch woofer and 1-inch mid-range driver allow for a full sound with extra-deep bass frequencies. The speaker’s power is mostly generated by the internal amplifier, which has a nominal power delivery of 450 watts - more than enough for a great party! You can even connect an extra passive speaker via the locking speaker output. Furthermore, this module has several ports (microphone, line-in), a two-band tone control (bass, treble) and even a built-in USB MP3-player. Mixing the different sources together to form a whole is easy, as every signal source has its own volume control.

Speaker construction

The speaker cabinet is made from a robust type of plastic, which makes it durable yet lightweight. You will definitely notice the difference in transport, as a system with Artis speakers can be set up easily by one person. The handle on the side allows you to carry one speaker in each hand. Furthermore, a 35mm flange on the underside of the speaker cabinet allows you to place the speaker on a stand and secure it. All in all, this is a very multifunctional speaker.
