JBL SRX815P active speaker

JBL is a premium manufacturer of professional speakers. The active SRX815P comes from their SRX800 series and combines great power with great sound reproduction. It has a projection of 90 x 50 degrees and is able to reach down to the lowest frequencies thanks to its 15-inch woofer. Its peak power is a hefty 2,000 watts, enough to fill a proper hall with great sound. Additionally, you can also use the SRX815P as a floor monitor speaker or as a full-range compact PA system thanks to the 2-channel mixer on the back.

JBL SRX815P: screamingly loud quality

For the active side of this speaker, JBL opted for an amplifier by amp-maker Crown. The Crown amp doesn't muck about when it comes to moving the speakers of the SRX815P either: the speaker produces a maximum SPL of 137 (louder than some jet fighters!) at a frequency range from 44 Hz to 20 kHz with an accuracy of +/-3 dB! To make sure the speaker is of the highest quality, its housing is made of wood. The cabinet features two rugged handles and a speaker stand adapter that also allows you to angle the speaker on the stand.

HiQnet

Every speaker of the SRX800 series features a HiQnet module that allows you to set up a full speaker system quickly and easily. You can connect the speakers via a LAN cable to a wireless router and subsequently use an Android or iOS device to set up all connected speakers. Via HiQnet, an EQ, a compressor, a crossover, a limiter and a delay are at your disposal. Moreover, HiQnet can also adjust the settings automatically based on pre-set settings. You no longer need a speaker management system!
