General

When there's a dire need for in-your-face vocals and screaming guitar leads, then there's the Mackie Trash212 to back you up. In fact, this full-range active speaker is specifically designed to do justice to rock and metal as well as djent and punk. This Thrash series speaker gives vocals and instruments their own clear spot in the mix, lending presence and clarity to each part thanks to a 12-inch high-performance woofer and a 1-inch titanium tweeter that combine to turn the 1,300-Watt peak output of the first-rate class-D amplifier into bang-on sound. Microphone and line signals can be plugged in via straight-up XLR/jack combo ports, while the tour-grade housing and various internal protection circuits like overheating protection and peak and RMS limiters ensure safe, but most of all smooth operation.
