General
The compact QSC CP8 active full-range speaker has a Class-D amplifier and a peak power output of 1000 watts. It boasts a 2-way configuration with an 8-inch woofer and a 1.4-inch compression driver. You can expect extremely accurate audio reproduction, making it suitable as a PA speaker, stage monitor or instrument speaker. On board, you'll find an advanced DSP processor with five presets: default, default with extra sub, dance, dance with extra sub, floor monitor and speech. There are two XLR/TRS inputs for connecting cables and a monitor out for linking another speaker from the same series. There's also a stereo aux input for connecting an external audio player. In short, if you're after a powerful, versatile speaker that's lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, then the QSC CP8 is an excellent option!

Small and powerful but quite heavy and no slip cover without extra purchase. About £150 cheaper, but not as versatile as a certain similar product by B--e: no reverb or separate eq on each input and no battery or bluetooth. Sound is loud and clean but the gains need to be well up - especially for an acoustic guitar piezo. Slightly disappointed but it will do a job.
