General

The Alesis MultiMix 4 USB FX combines a four-channel mixer and a USB audio interface in one compact unit. The audio interface enables you to make 16-bit recordings at 44.1 kHz as well as 48 kHz. The mixer is ideal for singer-songwriters with their own home studio, but is also a great tool for live applications.

Alesis MultiMix 4 USB FX

Each channel of the MultiMix 4 USB FX is equipped with an equalizer section with Hi and Low settings. Two microphones can be connected via the combined XLR/jack inputs - switchable phantom power is provided. A volume switch for guitar is at your disposal, and the stereo channel of the mixer features both a jack and a mini jack input. The compact mixer offers you a choice of 15 on-board effects and is compatible with Mac as well as PC without requiring any drivers.

Superhandig paneeltje als je weinig eisen hebt. Voor een professionele presentatie-set (laptop, 2 mooie Bose L1's, 2 spraakmicrofoons) uitstekend.
Enige minpunt: de meegeleverde voedingsadapter is erg goedkoop. Na een paar keer gebruik begint ie te 'zingen' als ie in een stopcontact wordt gedaan, wat voor een hoge pieptoon zorgt. Helaas nergens apart te verkrijgen. Jammer.

I am a total beginner in the audio business and I bought this mixer to be able to live stream dance classes and record audio and video on my computer. Installation was done automatically on my Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with WIndows 10 after connecting the USB cable. From this point it just works. All sounds in the computer becomes available in the mixer and my mikes and line in devices gets available in the computer for recordning with OSB or Camtasia. For my use, carrying it around it is a little bit to heavy but it is a solid build and no dought it will last for many years to come! For me it is a downside that it cannot be driven by only the USB able. The effects are flat out useless so don´t buy this product for them! Overall very happy! It seems to work for my purposes!
