The M edition Beyerdynamic DT770 headphones are:

a special edition of the 80 Ohm DT770 headphones.
are specifically designed for extremely loud environments (e.g. for drummers during gigs).
offer slightly less comfort and slightly lower sound quality than the standard 80 Ohm editions, but much better sound isolation.

These headphones are NOT designed for normal studio use or for Hi-Fi amplifiers (for these applications, see the 250 Ohm edition). These headphones are NOT compatible with smartphones or other USB powered equipment (for these applications, see the 32 Ohm edition).

This pair of Beyerdynamic DT 770 M headphones feature a dynamic, closed design and an extra-high SPL of 105 decibels, making them ideal for drummers, DJs and PA monitoring. They also feature a reinforced headband and a comfortable set of ear cushions that guarantee excellent sound isolation, meaning that any ambient noise is reduced to an absolute minimum.
