Latin Percussion's Americana cajons are made of Baltic birch, which is specially grown on a plantation for just that purpose. These cajons are designed to offer optimal acoustic properties and resonance. The LP1437 Americana string cajon features a frontplate made of African sapele wood, as well as highly sensitive D'Addario strings that you won't find in any other cajons.

Unique D'Addario strings

Thanks to the special string mechanism, you can easily adjust the sensitivity of the strings, emphasising either the bass or snare buzz. Meanwhile, the specially designed and adjustable D'Addario strings allow for a crisp, sharp sound that is especially popular in flamenco music. As such, this cajon is excellently well-suited for use in world music and acoustic gigs!
