This Spanish-born electro-acoustic classical guitar is equipped with a pickup and a Fishman preamp. That means that you can enjoy the great, warm sound of your new guitar whether you're at home, on stage or in the studio. The Perez 690 owes its warmth to the solid red cedar top and solid rosewood sides and back. Furthermore, the comfortable neck has been made of lightweight cedar and features an ebony fretboard that's easily accessible thanks to the cutaway.

The amplified sound of the Perez 690 Cedro Cutaway E2 is provided for by the high-quality Fishman Prefix Pro Blend system. It consists of Fishman's Acoustic Matrix piezo pickup and a built-in preamplifier with a microphone and tone control. You'll find that the great thing about this system is that you can mix the pickup sound with that of the internal microphone. Furthermore, the tone control features such options as a -12 to +12dB boost for bass and treble. You can use the Frequency button to adjust the mid range and you can use the Contour slide to boost or filter our the mids. As if that wasn't enough, you can use the Phase switch together with the Notch filter to avoid feedback.
