Meinl's Byzance series consists of high-quality, professional cymbals in all shapes and sizes. The B16MTC-B is a 16-inch Medium Thin Crash cymbal that was polished to a shine, for a brilliant finish. This is certainly not the ugly duckling in the Meinl family. Furthermore, it's made of B20 bronze (80% copper, 20% tin), which is largely responsible for its great sound.

Partly thanks to the high-quality materials Meinl uses, it contains plenty of overtones and undertones that give it great body. The B16MTC-B offers medium sustain, which is silky and bright in character.
