Pioneer DDJ-SZ2 DJ Controller

General

Pioneer has always been a leader when it comes to DJ technology and innovation. The DDJ-SZ2 DJ controller is the successor to the original SZ and is yet another example of their prowess. This controller features everything Serato has to offer, including Serato DJ software, Flip, and Pitch ‘n Time. With all these functions at your disposal, this four-channel controller is your new best friend at any venue and for every set. Compared to its predecessor, the SZ2 has a physical quantize button so there's no need to bring your laptop and to the left of the platters, there are key shift and key sync controls, allowing you to alter any track's key for harmonious mixing.

Never change a winning team!

One look at the DDJ-SZ2 will tell you that Pioneer haven't strayed too far from their original design. The only real difference is the addition of a MagVel crossfader and a special silver/grey finish to the fader controls for better visibility. Most importantly, all you have to do is plug in and you're good to go. If you want to mix together with someone else, there's a second USB port available and with the push of a button, you can change the deck and adjust the four channels to your preferred settings. There are also four different Sound Colour FX per channel as well as four newly-added oscillators. What's more, you can use an additional six effects at the same time, three for each deck.

Playful

While the standard features of the DDJ-SZ2 are more than enough to set any roof on fire, the various connection options of this controller offer so much potential. If you're playing in a club that also has a pair of CD players or a turntable lying around, you can easily connect them to the SZ2 via an RCA cable. If you invest in a set of speakers, you can choose between the XLR or RCA or jack output to get high quality monitoring. Finally, for when you want to speak to your audience and get them riled up, this controller gives you two microphone inputs.
