General
The XTC-II is a more than worthy successor for the renowned DateQ XTC DJ mixer. This second edition offers a more comprehensive package than the original, but preserves the perfect analogue sound the first XTC was known and loved for.
The XTC-II is a compact 4+1-channel battle mixer that allows for the connection of nine stereo sound sources. Thanks to this impressive range of connectors, you're able to plug in both turntables and CD players at the same time. Each channel has a button that allows you to select the desired sound source, which makes the DateQ XTC-II a great, flexible mixer for club applications. The mixer also features an FX send and return, so it's possible to use an external effect device. You can decide for each individual channel whether the effects should be applied or not. The 60mm faders that enable you to the mix various channels are VCA-controlled, so there's no chance of interference. Thanks to an adjustable X-fader curve, you can create real house transitions, as well as ultra-fast scratch transitions. Each channel allows for monitoring - both the channel itself and the master channel are audible. The DateQ mixer is connected to your PA system by means of its balanced XLR outputs, which are protected by an adjustable software limiter, so the output level is always transmitted without any distortion.

Voici mon retour sur la Dateq XTC II que je possède depuis le 24 novembre !
Alors ça sonne très très bien ! Son chaud, bien analogique, grosse patate, puissance en sortie master... (identique à la Rodec MX 180 MKIII) En sortie casque aussi, identique à la sortie casque de la Rodec MX 180 MKII mais pas autant que la Rane Blue Empath qui te flingue les oreilles si trop généreux !
Le son est très bien détaillé, on entend tout, on coupe les bass, on entend bien encore le reste (medium/aigu)
& vice & versa... Potard égaliseur 3 bandes très très précis, on bouge un peu on le ressent direct que ce soit en + ou en -
Tout les faders sont des ALPS Pro 60mm (type studio) comme sur les Rodec... Bien plus beau que les faders plat comme sur les Xone. En termes de qualité de son/dynamique elle est bien au dessus de la Rane Blue Empath, identique à la Rodec au niveau patate/dynamique mais le son est mieux détaillé, pus précis, plus fin, on entend tout ! Pour moi elle est comme une Ecler 70/90 en termes de précision et finesse du son mais avec la patate de la Rodec... Top quoi ! Par contre ça ne coupe pas à 100% comme beaucoup de table "actuel" la on descend à - 32db et on monte à + 8db ce qui est largement suffisant... Contre "full cut et + 6" pour tout ce qui est Xone/Rane/Pioneer etc...
Elle respire la qualité au déballage, panneau en alu noir "granuleux" comme sur la Rodec Mx 180 MKIII qui est elle gris foncé, les potards sont de type moelleux siliconé (comme les Xone) Le vu mètre est tip top ! D'une précision chirurgical ! A ce niveau la, bien mieux que la Rane, l'Ecler & la Rodec...
Au niveau des connections c'est juste ROYAL

Il y à bien de l'espace pour travailler, pas trop de bouton inutile...
Pour le moment je ne regrette en aucun cas mon achat, un grand plaisir à jouer dessus, que ce soit en vinyls ou en MP3 via Traktor A6 en mode DVS
Et contrairement a quasi toutes les marques actuel qui sont made in China (Allen & Heath, Rane, Pioneer etc...) Dateq est encore fabriqué en Hollande ! ;-)

ook de schuifjes en draaiknoppen voelen heel soepel aan , de gouden aansluitingen en de aparte subwoofer uitgang is ook wel handig.
in het kort een hele goeie mixer voor mensen die veel geluidskwaliteit zoeken in een mixer .
en de levering was trouwens ook op tijd zoals ik makkelijk bij het bestellen kon aangeven bedankt voor de goeie service bax shop !
