Go wild on the TFCDJ-7MI djembe in a jam session, in group lessons at the percussion school or on the street. Thanks to its 7-inch skin diameter and small size, the Freestyle Colorsound djembe is an ideal instrument for travelling. Its sturdy plastic shell means it won't get damaged easily and the rubber base on the bottom gives it extra stability and protection from tile scratches, for example.

Neat finish

You can see from the missing seam on the kettle that this is a Toca product where finishing has been thought of. The bowl is spun with nylon rope for a traditional look and for tuning the sheet. The skin is made of synthetic material, making it much more resistant to drying out and stretching than a natural skin. This also makes the skin less likely to detune.
