Toca Percussion's 7-inch Freestyle Colorsound djembes are available in a number of colours, such as this model's gorgeous metallic red finish. They feature shells made of a high-quality synthetic material, as well as a synthetic drumhead that is highly resistant to changes in temperature and weather, which would certainly affect a traditional animal hide drumhead. However, to keep some tradition intact, Toca fitted this model with a rope tuning mechanism.
