After the success of the LPU-1, the LPU-2 was sure to follow. Visual Productions has finally fulfilled the wishes of light technicians everywhere by introducing an improved version of their popular LPU-1 that has even more comprehensive software which is compatible with not only iOS, but also Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. That is, after all, the strength of the Cuety LPU-2; the capability to connect to mobile devices so you can move around the venue and determine the best way to program your show from the perspective of the audience.

LPU-1 vs. LPU-2

At first glance, the LPU-2 hasn't changed much compared to the LPU-1. It is comprised of the same high-quality parts, including an optically-isolated DMX port for optimal data transfer. The difference is on the inside. The LPU-2 has undergone some serious improvements in order to work seamlessly with different operating systems, namely Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. It also supports protocols like HTTP, TCP, UDP and OSC.

Cuety

The Cuety software and remote app provide everything a light jockey needs to create a great show. With more than 3,500 Personality Files already pre-programmed in the app and ready to use, plus a built-in FX generator, even the biggest light shows will be a piece of cake to prepare and operate. Cuety software uses a Cuelist system, which is well-known in the industry.
