General

Elektron's Model:Samples is a compact, lightweight, sample-based groovebox with 6 audio tracks and plenty of on-board controls for shaping sounds. It comes with 300 samples by Splice including kicks, snares and hi-hats as well as more exotic options! Any of the audio tracks can be used as MIDI tracks and you can also load in your own samples or use separately-available custom sound packs. In addition to its other controls, the Model:Samples has 6 velocity-sensitive pads for playing live or you can make use of on-board Elektron sequencer. Anything you record can be stored in the 1 GB memory.

A simple but versatile sample sequencer (drum machine), with a solid sequencer allowing powerful modulation and automation to evolve or change on every step. Lends itself well to live performance. Perfect for an introduction to Elektron hardware or for anyone looking for a new way to create interesting rhythm sections.

Fijne drum computer! Als je een drum computer van Elektroj aan t overwegen bent maar niet direct een octa track wilt aanschaffen kun je de samples zeker overwegen. Bouwkwaliteit van behuizing en knoppen zijn goed. Menu is scherm is wat klein maar daardoor ben je juist veel bezig met geluid. Erg tevreden over deze aankoop, direct ook een stofkap en tasje bij besteld.

Zeer, maar dan ook zeer veelzijdig.
Veel ruimte om je eigen samples op te zetten en er staan ook al de nodige samples op. Het duurde niet lang voordat ik er achter was wat je er mee kan doen en hoe het werkt. Eigenlijk is elk sample op elke trigger los aan te passen, ik persoonlijk vindt dat er genoeg is om aan de samples is aan te passen door het gebruik van filters, lfo om de pan te regelen, decay, sample start en end, reverse... Persoonlijk wat ik erg handig vindt is dat je op een 1 maat al zo veel variatie kan krijgen door de chance/condition trigger te gebruiken, zo kan je een bepaalde sample af spelen elke 3 x van 4 maten bijvoorbeeld.

Ik zou echt niet meer zonder willen.

Don't let the minimal look deceive you, this is a very versatile sampler build on the same sample engine as the digitakt. Standard you get a quite nice selection of trendy sounds but you can install packs or your own. Sequencer is awesome, tracks can have different tempo derived from the general BPM, triggers can be configured for velocity, probability, retriggering etc. It can be used as midi controller but also can be played like a synth using the oscillator grain samples. It's not a digitakt but it's surprisingly versatile.

De Model:Samples is een fijne machine om mee te werken. De samples zijn makkelijk in te laden via de Elektron Transfer-software en kun je alles zelf in mappen ordenen.
Het is een sample player, dus buiten filters en een LFO kun je niet veel aan de samples zelf veranderen. Het apparaat is dus echt leuk voor erbij en niet als standalone. Dan zou ik een Digitakt aanraden, aangezien deze kan samplen.
De Elektron sequencer is wel een groot pluspunt aan dit apparaat. Verder is het apparaat makkelijk mee te nemen en kun je hem makkelijk aansluiten op bijv. een Model:Cycles. Al met al een leuk ding voor de beginnende live performer of als makkelijke sample player voor bij een live set.

Livré en 2 jours avec un emballage soigné.
C'est mon premier Sampler et pour l'instant je ne suis pas déçu.
Le son est énorme et que dire du séquenceur d'Elektron ! Une tuerie !
Je pense que je passerai sur la Digitakt dans pas très longtemps...Pour se faire la main sur un Sampler beau, ergonomique et vraiment puissant ne cherchez plus le Model:Samples déchire !

heerlijk apparaat en best veelzijdig ondanks de 6 pads...gebruik hem als drumcomputer naast mijn digitakt.
zeer goede instap voor de wat kleinere budgetten.

Gave sample player. Ben ‘em nog aan het ontdekken maar tot nu toe bevalt ‘ie erg goed.

De knoppen zijn wel iets stug, dus voor vinger drummen is hij misschien iets minder geschikt.
