The Marcus Miller P6 by Sire is a 4-string bass guitar with a body that is very lightweight and has modern equipment and looks. Thanks to its so-called Edgeless design, where the edge of the fingerboard is carefully rounded, it is very comfortable to play. These features make the P6 ideal for prolonged practice sessions or demanding gigging. Thanks to the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp, this bass can be used actively as well as passively. Thanks to its comprehensive controls, it is easy to get the sound you are looking for. It has a master volume, pickup blend, treble/mid control and a bass control with push/pull function to switch between active and passive.

Sleek design

The P6 has a P-style body of mahogany with a top of ash that has been sandblasted. This accentuates the natural grain of the ash wood, which remains visible through the lacquer. This gives this bass guitar from Sire a modern look. It is available in as many as five colours. Chrome-plated hardware, well-placed knobs and the deliberate omission of a plastic pickguard contribute to the sleek design. The fingerboard has a 9.5" radius and is made of maple or rosewood, depending on the colour. The 20 frets are all easy to reach so even higher solos are no problem.
