The Sire Marcus Miller V10 5 Transparent Black Satin is a premium 5-string electric bass guitar developed in collaboration with Marcus Miller. This V Series model combines a resonant swamp ash body with a solid poplar burl top for a full, balanced tone and excellent sustain. The stylish Transparent Black Satin finish allows the beautiful wood grain to show through subtly, giving the bass an exclusive look. Thanks to the combination of high-quality materials, professional electronics and an included official Sire gig bag, this is an excellent choice for both live performances and studio recordings.
Marcus Miller electronics for maximum versatility
The hard maple neck, with its comfortable C-profile and Edgeless™ rounded fretboard edges, ensures a fast and smooth playing experience. The hard maple fingerboard features luxurious abalone block inlays, a 9.5-inch radius and 20 medium frets. The Marcus Super-J Revolution pickup set, with classic 1960s spacing, delivers a clear, dynamic and extremely detailed J-bass tone. Thanks to the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp with 3-band EQ, mid-frequency control and active/passive switching, you have access to an exceptionally wide tonal spectrum that can be easily adapted to any playing style.
High-quality finish and reliable hardware
The new Marcus Heavymass II bridge contributes to powerful sustain and stable intonation, whilst the premium open-gear tuning machines ensure precise tuning stability. The gold-coloured hardware provides a striking contrast to the Transparent Black Satin finish and emphasises the luxurious character of this bass guitar. As the V10 has no pickguard, the distinctive poplar burl top is shown off to its best advantage. To ensure the instrument is optimally protected during transport, an official Sire gig bag is included as standard.
