The Sire Marcus Miller V10 DX5 Natural is a high-quality 5-string electric bass guitar designed for bassists who refuse to compromise on playing comfort, finish and tone. This premium model from the V-series combines a swamp ash body with a solid flamed maple top for a powerful, balanced foundation and a luxurious look. The roasted flamed hard maple neck feels extremely comfortable and offers extra stability. Thanks to the included official Sire hard case, you can also transport your instrument safely to rehearsals, gigs and studio sessions.
Premium components for maximum performance
For its electronics, the V10 DX5 utilises the Marcus Premium-J Revolution Set with 1970s-style pickup spacing, developed in collaboration with Marcus Miller. As a result, the bass delivers a clear, dynamic and highly detailed sound that is ideally suited to a wide range of playing styles. The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp offers an active 3-band EQ with mid-frequency control and an active/passive switch, allowing you to easily switch between modern and classic bass tones. The comprehensive controls give you full control over volume, tone, pickup balance and EQ.
Luxurious finish and professional playing comfort
In terms of hardware, too, the V10 DX5 demonstrates that this is a premium instrument. The Hipshot KickAss bridge offers adjustable string action and contributes to crisp definition and excellent sustain. The Hipshot USA Ultralite tuning machines combine low weight with high tuning stability. The roasted maple fingerboard with rounded Edgeless™ edges plays exceptionally comfortably, whilst the abalone block inlays and gold-coloured hardware lend it an exclusive look. The transparent pickguard protects the beautiful Natural finish without obscuring the character of the wood.
