The Sire Marcus Miller V7+ A5F Tobacco Sunburst is a complete fretless 5-string electric bass guitar that combines the classic J-bass with modern playability and versatile electronics. Thanks to its fretless ebony fingerboard, this bass produces a smooth, expressive tone that is ideally suited to subtle glissandos and vocal-like bass lines. The North American alder body delivers a powerful, balanced foundation with rich mids and deep bass, whilst the beautiful Tobacco Sunburst finish ensures a timeless look on any stage.
High-quality materials and comprehensive electronics
The neck is crafted from hard maple with a comfortable C-profile and a satin finish for a smooth playing experience. The rounded fret edges give the feel of a custom-shop instrument and significantly enhance playing comfort. Two Marcus Super-J Revolution single-coil pickups deliver the recognisable vintage J-bass tone with added definition and dynamics. The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp offers a comprehensive 3-band EQ with adjustable mid-frequency and an active/passive switch, allowing you to switch effortlessly between a transparent vintage sound and modern, powerful bass tones.
Ready for any playing style
With a 34-inch scale length and five strings, this V7+ A5F is suitable for a wide range of playing techniques, such as fingerstyle, slap and soloing. The Marcus Miller Modern S bridge features a string-through-body construction for extra sustain, a tight response and excellent tuning stability. The natural bone nut contributes to a clear tone and precise intonation. Premium open-gear tuning machines, chrome hardware and a tortoise pickguard complete this versatile fretless bass.
