General

The Sire Marcus Miller V7+ A5L is a left-handed 5-string electric bass guitar developed in collaboration with Marcus Miller. As the flagship model in the Sire series, this instrument combines a classic J-style look with modern playability and versatile electronics. Thanks to its North American alder body, hard maple neck and ebony fingerboard, this bass delivers a powerful, full-bodied tone with tight bass response, clear definition and excellent responsiveness. The striking Bright Metallic Red finish completes the look and gives the instrument a modern appearance.

Optimal playing experience and versatile electronics

The hard maple neck features a comfortable C-profile and Edgeless™ rolled fretboard edges, making the neck feel instantly familiar and ensuring smooth playability. The Marcus Super-J Revolution single-coil pickups deliver both authentic vintage jazz bass tones and modern clarity. Thanks to the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp with 3-band EQ, adjustable mid-frequency and switchable active/passive mode, you have access to an exceptionally wide tonal spectrum. Even in passive mode, the volume, tone and pickup balance controls remain fully functional.

High-quality finish for years of playing pleasure

The V7+ A5L is built with durable, high-quality components that contribute to stability, reliability and a rich tone. The natural-leg nut ensures optimal resonance and precise intonation, whilst the Marcus Miller Modern S bridge with string-through-body construction offers extra sustain and a tight string response. Premium open-gear tuning machines maintain a reliable tuning, whilst the chrome hardware, tortoise pickguard and block inlays provide a stylish finish that perfectly complements the classic jazz bass design.
