General

Following up on the Sterling Stingray Series basses, Music Man's daughter company drop their version of the Ray34HH. The unmistakable, vintage tone of the single-pickup and 3-band EQ of the original has been expanded, giving you the voicings of two Alnico double-coils and a 3-way selector switch. The hard roasted maple neck has been secured to the nyatoh body with six bolts, firming up the intonation and tuning stability while ensuring that this solid-body bass delivers more than enough sustain and lays down a warm acoustic foundation. This more accessible rendition of the Ray34 has been finished with a specially designed topload-style bridge while the 9.5-inch fretboard radius and set of medium frets provide that tight, familiar playing feel.
