The Yamaha BBNE2 Black is bass virtuoso Nathan East's signature model. Effortlessly adaptable to any situation, this high-spec 5-string bass features active electronics and stacked Alnico V humbuckers that deliver detailed, hum-free tone.

The Yamaha BBNE2: A Masterpiece

Cloaked in black, the BBNE2 comes with a slim-and-streamlined alder body that's been topped with maple and finished with a 5-piece maple-and-mahogany neck that runs through the body for optimum stability and extra-long sustain. At the same time, individual bridge pieces curb unwanted string vibrations, delivering as pure a tone as possible and, to hook you up with classic Nathan East-style sound, the active electronics have been expanded with a special equaliser circuit based on East's own 'Magic Box' so you can cut off the selected mid frequency at will.
