General

The Yamaha ERG121 GP II is an ideal set for the beginner guitarist. This set consists of a stunning high-gloss black Yamaha ERG121 electric guitar and a Yamaha GA15 guitar amplifier. You also get a guitar strap, instrument cable, a set of picks, an extra set of strings, a tuner, a string winder, and of course a guitar case.

Yamaha ERG121: solid wood guitar with HSH configuration
The guitar body is made of solid limewood, which creates a tight low, a sturdy mid, and a sultry high. The solid maple neck with rosewood fingerboard screws into the body, and is equipped with dotted inlays to indicate fret positions. The ERG121 has two humbucker pickups and a single coil to create a variety of sounds. With a 5-way switch, you can switch between the three pickups or even combine them. From blues to funk to rock to metal, the ERG121 can do it all!

Yamaha GA15: compact versatile amplifier
The GA15 is a 2-channel 15 Watt guitar amplifier with a 6.5 inch speaker. It features a clean channel with volume control, and a drive channel with Gain and volume. Additionally there are Treble, Middle, and Bass controls, plus a headphone jack so you can practise privately.

Very good package for beginners. I didn't use electric guitars before this so I was worried about how to pick one. The set came with everything I needed. Everything came in a very sturdy box and the guitar was already stringed and perfectly tuned. I just plugged in the amp and connected the guitar and it was ready for use. The pegs on the amp provide a basic level of control on the sound quality and you can create different sounds by controlling the Tone on the guitar and eq levels and distortion on the amp. The truss rod is very easy to fix if needed. I also connected it to an interface and added some effects on my DAW and realized that with additional effects, it is way more versatile.

There is an extra set of strings, a tuning device, bag and cover.
