There's no doubt that this model has been built for faster and heavier work. As such, Phil Sgrosso has hand-selected a maple neck coated in satin-gloss and finished with Charvel's own Speed Neck profile. This has been teamed up with rounded fretboard edges and a set of twenty-two jumbo frets to promote a super-light and fluid playing feel. The compound radius helps too - graduating from a flat 12 inches at the headstock to a flatter 16 inches at the body, and as a sweet finisher, you not only get a set of white offset dot position markers but a full set of Luminlay side dots.
