General
The Fazley FTL218BK is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the famous TE model guitar. It has a basswood body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard, as well as durable hardware that means it can compete with many more expensive guitars out there. With its stylish black finish, the FTL218BK has a sleek look that will look great both at home and on stage.
Wood types
Thanks to a lightweight basswood body, the Fazley FTL218BK has a beautifully balanced core sound. The maple neck adds a pleasant bite, while the 22-fret brown blackwood fingerboard completes the sound with some warm overtones. All in all, it's a great combination of wood types that create the solid base for the durable Fazley hardware to work with.
Hardware and electronics
As any good TE model should, the FTL218BK has two single-coil pickups. The bridge pickup features a chrome-plated lipstick cover that looks just perfect. What's more, the fixed top-loader bridge with three saddles further enhances this affordable Fazley's vintage feel. In short, it has everything you need for that authentic twang, and it's remarkably inexpensive!

If you are not a world touring guitarist, or not in a recording studio every week, why spend big money on fenders etc? .. If you are in a local band, a bedroom player, or just learning, get a cheap solid axe like this one. It's got a good weight, nice balance and feel, looks cool, but most importantly to me, it stays in tune and there's no crackles from the electrics (knobs or pick ups). For a tele copy, the price is a no brainer. Excellent deal.
