General
The Fazley FTL218YB has something to offer everyone. For beginners it's a great affordable alternative to other well-known brands, for more advanced players it's a backup guitar with a pleasant price, and for tinkerers who like to modify their guitars, it's a great starting point. Based on the classic TE guitars, this model features a basswood body, two Fazley single-coil pickups and a maple neck with a brown blackwood fretboard.
Great bargain
While the FTL218YB may be affordable, its boasts rather competitive specifications. The wood types that were used can also be found on much more expensive guitars, for instance. Basswood is known for its light weight and balanced sound, while the maple allows for a nice bite. Finally, brown blackwood gives the Fazley's overall sound some nice warm overtones.
Classic configuration
Like any good TE guitar, this Fazley has a two single-coil pickup configuration. The bridge pickup has a chrome-coloured lipstick cover that helps give it just the right look—which can also be said for the authentic top loader bridge with three saddles. In short, this guitar has all the ingredients to deliver that classic TE twang, and it has a remarkably low price to boot!

This guitar actually looks fine on delivery. Sadly, it gave up working a few months afterwards. All efforts to try and repair it were in van. It had to be disposed off in the end. Definitely not worth the price and headache.

As part of my research into ‘quality guitars at affordable prices’, I simply had to try out this attractive Telecaster Styled guitar. As hoped, this guitar is well built, playable straight out of the box and inspirational in its appearance. The hardware may not be of the finest, but they work well. The pick ups definitely sound like Tele pick ups, maybe a little bass light but full of twang. This is a must for the beginner or intermediate. I love it. Fasley ricks. TB

Amazing guitar for £69.action was good out of the box and only needed a tiny adjustment.Sounds fantastic with the volume turned all the way up.Looks good too but is quite thin.If you are on a budget these guitars are perfect.Super fast delivery(2 days)

Very wide , flat neck. Too wide for some.
As a learners guitar , good value. Sound is adequate. If you can afford it get a Squier. If not this is ok for the money. Hardware is adequate. Finish good. Tuning seems reasonably stable. Intonation ok. Overall :Better than the online demo suggests !
I’d buy another fazley as they’re so cheap. Fine to mess around with , or a first guitar. Not as a real guitar !
It’d be five stars if someone had checked the terrible action.
