Fazley's Startist Plus ST118 is an electric guitar that you'll be able to enjoy for years to come. That makes it great for beginners as well as more advanced players. It may as attractively-priced as some other similarly styled models, but it's doubtful they can boast about having reliable parts by names like Wilkinson, Graph Tech and Alpha! Startist Plus ST118: parts by Graph Tech and Wilkinson

The ST118 has a body made of ash that produces a bright sound with excellent resonance. That's also helped by the TUSQ string nut made by Graph Tech. There are three WVS Alnico V passive single-coil pickups by Wilkinson on board too that are based on pickups from the '60s. The middle pickup is reverse wound with reverse polarity to prevent any unwanted noises.

Playing comfort

Wilkinson also make the bridge and the machine heads used on this model. The modern 2-point tremolo bridge has flat block saddles which means you can place your hand comfortably while playing and adding subtle vibrato effects. The flat 16-inch fretboard radius adds to the playing comfort too, while six WJN-01 machine heads ensure excellent tuning stability.
