Gibson present the Les Paul Tribute Satin: a successful blend of a traditional Les Paul and a mass of modern playability. Ultra-modern, in fact, thanks to the weight-relief design of this electric guitar made up of a carefully slimmed down mahogany body and a maple top. Gibson have made sure the sonic core of the guitar remained fully in tact after shaving off a little wood here and there and, unlike full-chambered models, this Les Paul Tribute isn't bothered by unwanted feedback - and neither are you.
The Modern Collection Les Paul Tribute: Sought-After Sound
Part of the Modern Collection, this iconic guitar features the famous 490R and 490T pickups. These passive humbuckers are built up around an Alnico II magnet to guarantee a classic tonal foundation, ample power and the sustain expected of an American Les Paul. Meanwhile, the modern 12" fretboard radius and 22 medium jumbo frets on the rosewood fretboard offer refined playability, ensuring this Gibson guitar lives up to the 'Tribute' part in its name. To top it off, a soft-shell case and a Gibson Accessory Kit come included.

Eigenlijk wou ik reeds lang een Gibson LP en heb ik gekozen voor de Tribute. Het is eigenlijk de basisreeks maar vergis je niet! Ondanks hij lichter is wat ik eigenlijk een voordeel vindt is het in het aanvoelen wel degelijk een echte Gibson maar dan zonder franjes. Wat erop zit is in de welgekende kwaliteit. De gitaar is verder mooi afgewerkt maar zonder bindings op de body wat ik persoonlijk niet erg vindt. Dikwijls is minder meer. In ieder geval niets om over te klagen. Ook doen de 490 R & T pickups heel behoorlijk hun werk.Het heeft een tijdje minder geweest bij de kwaliteitscontrole bij Gibson maar daar is niets meer van te merken. Wil je een Gibson zonder een bank te beroven ? Doen !
