The Godin 5th Avenue CW Kingpin II Cognac Burst is the luxury version of the 5th Avenue CW Kingpin P90. The main difference between these two models is that instead of just one P90 pickup, the Kingpin II is fitted with two P90s. One pickup can be found in the neck position while the other is found at the bridge. Even when played without amplification, you'll notice this instrument's clear sound including the warmth that comes from the body. Plugged in, the P90s deliver a bright, clear sound that retains the warmth and acoustic properties of the instrument. The pickups can used together or separately which puts a wide range of sound at your disposal and makes the instrument very versatile. The neck pickup delivers a sound that is rounded as well as deep and warm. You can expect to get a brighter, tighter tone from the bridge pickup.
