General
The JS series is the entry-level series of Jackson Guitars and consists of an extensive collection of affordable electric bass guitars and guitars of an exceptional quality. This 7-string guitar, with Dinky body and bolt-on neck, is no exception. Mounted with two Jackson humbucker pickups and a string-through-body bridge, this high-grade axe is perfect for fans of faster and rougher playing but have a limited budget.
JS22-7 Dinky: The Wood
The basswood body of the JS22-7 is just a bit smaller than the famous ST model but still has that characteristic double cutaway and produces a beautiful, warm tone and great sustain. The neck is bolted onto the body and is made of maple while the fretboard is made of amaranth and features 24 jumbo frets and the classic Jackson shark fin inlays. The beautiful matte black varnish and black hardware give this guitar a serene, pleasant appearance.
Seven Strings
The most striking thing about the JS22-7 Dinky are the seven strings and the low B, which gives it an extra heavy, full sound. The two Jackson High Output 7 String Humbucker pickups together provide a great balanced sound that can be adjusted via a 3-way pickup switch, a control knob and a tone knob.

I bought this guitar after seeing great reviews online. It's awesome. Passive electrics but the pickups provide a great metal tone. The finish is amazing, the frets are finished better than most guitars I've played. The action is great, stays in tune (fixed Bridge FTW), the low strings sound tight and clear. I can't fault it. I'd have been happy with this guitar if I'd paid £300+, at this price it's a bargain.

Been playing six string for years, This is my first seven string. The paint can be a bit "fingerprinty" and it has a little neck dive however, I love it !! The matte black finish is perfect. The setup was spot on out the box and all I had to do was tune it. The build quality is really good. The fretwork is silky smooth with no rough edges. The neck is not as thick and wide as I expected and I have no problem's playing up and down the neck. The tone is very much to my taste and it can get real deep low and bassy with low tuning's. It holds tuning very well after the strings settled in. Its a great guitar at this price ! And if you came for this answer, It Djent's ;D

gitaar keurig verpakt. lakwerk keurig zonder foutjes. hals super strak geen dode noten nergens. fretends mooi glad en niet scherp .fabrieksafstelling was redelijk ok helaas was de topkam veel te hoog en onafgewerkt wat het spelen erg moeilijk maakte. ook de tuners waren wat slap afgesteld waardoor ze terugliepen , de tuners zijn niet heel bijzonder maar functioneren goed. na deze punten op te lossen prima bespeelbaar. passieve pickpups redelijk agressief maar wat modderig in de lage noten , hou je van actieve elektronica ben je waarschijnlijk beter af met EMG,s of Blackouts. deze gitaar is voor het geld een absolute aanrader, zeker als je bedenkt dat wanneer je hem in parts zou kopen je waarschijnlijk al duurder uit bent.

Fantastische gitaar, zeker voor het geld. Alleen jammer dat na 5 dagen de audio-inputjack afbrak en dat er vanuit de doos al krassen en beschadigingen op de hals zaten...
Dit zal wel zijn omdat ik gewoon pech heb, want bij de mensen waarvan ik filmpjes heb gekeken en reviews heb gelezen heb ik dergelijke klachten niet gehoord.
