General

The Squier Affinity Stratocaster (rosewood, Shell Pink) is a highly reliable guitar for serious starting guitarists and advanced players (among others). The first thing you'll notice is its rare Shell Pink finish. Additionally, it closely resembles the real Fender Stratocaster in both the looks and sound department. This guitar features three single-coil pickups to clearly transfer the well-balanced, powerful resonance of the alder body to your amplifier. The fretboard is made of rosewood which provides a rounder sound than maple fretboards.

The Squier brand

The Stratocaster and Telecaster electric guitars and Precision bass guitars are Fender's best known models and have been copied by many. Fender wanted to be able to provide their own reliable and attractive alternative and started a subsidiary in 1982: Squier. Squier guitars and bass guitars are built according to specifications made by, and under supervision of Fender.
