If you're in the market for a good entry-level instrument for a beginning guitarist, then this Stagg S250-BK is a great option. It's a ST-style model with a friendly price tag and a solid alder body, which is a type of wood commonly used in guitars in much higher price categories.
Solid base and sparkling tones
This Stagg guitar is made of a tried-and-trusted combination of wood types, namely alder for the body, maple for the neck, and rosewood for the fretboard. When amplified, this instrument produces a sparkling sound thanks to three single-coil pickups. It also wouldn't be complete with a vintage-style tremolo bridge.
