General
In order to edit sound, SPL's Stereo Vitalizer MK2-T uses psychoacoustic technology; by creating ear-stimulating frequencies, it plays to the way we perceive sound. As such, it allows you to give your final mix a fantastic boost. If you're a producer who uses software, but still values the benefits of analogue signal editing, you'll love working with the Stereo Vitalizer!
The MK2 T is equipped with two 12 AX LSP dual triode tubes, one of which is used with the mid/high filter, adding more dynamics to the mid frequencies.
The second tube is used in combination with the stereo expander, not only boosting the stereo image, but making it wider and adding more depth and transparency.
The mid frequencies are also edited by means of a coil filter, turning the original signal into a clear signal. Additionally, this filter makes the high frequencies more lively without distorting the signal.
The Vitalizer MK2T has various settings, offering the choice between a dry signal, a more progressive low end, or more punchy, softer or deeper sound characteristics.
It's a great tool for recording, music production and mastering studios, and adds life to your final mix, especially if you mainly use software such as virtual effects and instruments.
