General

The Cranborne Audio Carnaby HE2 is a 3-band parametric EQ in 2U rack form. A natural evolution of the Carnaby 500 EQ, this equaliser can be used in stereo, dual mono and mid-side configurations. Developed to support fully harmonic sound, all three interactive HarmonicEQ® bands feature a 10dB boost/cut function and sweepable, overlapping frequency controls.

Complete Digital Control via USB and Network Options

The Carnaby HE2 can be controlled via USB as well as via the fitted ethernet port. To ensure seamless integration with your existing hardware, Cranborne has specially developed a DAW plug-in that gives you direct access to all of the built-in functions, including saving and loading presets.

Mid/Side Processing and Inserts for Outboard Gear

Thanks to Mid/Side processing, the middle frequency range and the sides (stereo width) are isolated from the stereo signal and can be separately tweaked as needed. What's more, the HE2 can do this without the help of any external hardware. Got some outboard gear you want to use? No problem. Cranborne has mounted a set of balanced inserts round the back. These inserts sit after the M/S encoding and before the M/S decoding, meaning the signal comes in before it's refined by the HarmonicEQ® processing.
