To do their job, any smoke machine, fogger or hazer needs to be filled up with smoke fluid - also-known-as fog juice. More importantly, it needs the right kind of fog juice so it can create the right kind of effect. So if you want a subtle mist or thick plumes of smoke, or you want long-lasting, lingering smoke or smoke that quickly dissipates, you'll be able to find the right kind of fluid to create just the right effect.
Fog Juice for Your Smoke Machine
Since all smoke machines, foggers and fazers need smoke fluid, we stock a massive range of different fluids, so you can pick up anything from a 1 litre to 200 litre bottle of the right stuff for your machine. You can also get different types of fog juice, so while some will produce thin mist, others will produce thick fog. So you can tell exactly what you're getting, most smoke fluid is marked 'light, 'medium' or 'heavy'. More expensive brands also offer fluid that will produce longer-lasting smoke or near-odourless smoke, or fluid that's designed to be better for your machine. This kind of fluid can also ensure faster smoke dispersion. As well as fog juice, we also stock smoke scent and specialised smoke machine cleaning fluid.
Hazer Fluid
Hazer fluid is specifically formulated for hazers. A hazer is a specific kind of smoke machine that produces thin, almost mist-like smoke. Hazers are often used to enhance the visibility of stage lighting, like the light beams emitted by a lasers and moving heads.
Scented Smoke Fluid
If you want to add an extra dimension to a party, show or event, then you could add a little pine, vanilla or even a sweet fruity scent to your smoke. Just add a few drops of smoke fluid scent to the bottle or tank and fill the room with scented fog.
How Long Does Smoke Fluid Last?
It's always a good idea to stock yourself up with a five-litre jerry can of smoke fluid. This will give you more than enough to keep your machine going for an entire evening. Of course, the rate of fluid consumption also depends on the size of the room and how often you're firing off your smoke machine. But for most average-sized rooms, five litres will be enough.
Heavy Smoke Machine Fluid
When a smoke fluid is described as 'heavy', it's referring to the density of the smoke that it produces. Often, heavy smoke fluid is used for larger rooms in need of thicker fog.
