How can I arrange a contract online?

Complete our form to submit your request to hire one of our products and we'll get in touch with you on the next following workday.

Which products can I hire? 

Any physical product that can be found on the Bax Music website priced between £300 and £1,500.

Can I hire more than one product? 

Absolutely! As long as the total price stays between £300 and £1,500.

Can I hire a product for a short period? 

The minumum hire period we offer is 4 full months + the days remaining within the first month that the hire period begins. For example, if you were to start hiring from the 21st of April, then the hire period would include the whole of May, June, July, August + the last ten days of April.

When will the product be delivered?

Do we have the product in stock? Then we'll send it out to you as soon as the agreed payment has been made.

How much does it cost? 

A fixed hire price is paid per month. This amount is the total price of the product divided by 15. We'll also ask that a deposit be paid with the first payment, which will be refunded to you once the product has been returned in good condition. The deposit is a third of the product price.

Can I hire a product and then purchase it at a discount?

If you happen to fall in love with a product you're hiring from us and want to buy it, that's no problem! As soon as the minimum hire period of 4 months is up, you can purchase the product at a discount. The discount is calculated as follows:

* If you decide to purchase the product, the paid deposit will not be refunded but deducted from the price.

Will the full deposit be refunded? And if so, when?

The deposit is refunded in full when the product has been returned to Bax Music in good condition. Please note: signs of use such as fingerprints are no problem. However, it may be that deductions to the deposit are made due to any scratches, other marks and damage caused to any parts found on the product and/or accessories. This is determined when the product is reviewed by our aftersales department. Please also note that consumables fitted to certain products, like the batter head of a drum, will need to replaced by us on return and as such will incur a deduction of usually around 10% of the deposit. This can, of course, vary depending on the degree of wear and tear.

How can I cancel my hire agreement? 

You can cancel your hire agreement via our returns procedure.

What should I do if any damage or defect occurs?

Register the product for a return via our returns portal and make it explicitly clear that the product being returned is a hired product.
