With their 1.38mm gauge, Dunlop's Jazz III guitar picks are the thickest picks out of the Jazz series. The Jazz I and II have a rounded and half-rounded tip, respectively, whereas the Jazz II has a sharp tip. This pick fits well in your hand thanks to an added grip layer.Specifications

Serieus hele goede plectra, ik heb deze al jaren en eigenlijk nooit afgestapt. Heel soms zet ik er met een stanleymes een paar krassen in zodat je net wat meer grip hebt maar voor de rest.. Perfect! Zeker een aanrader.

Een zeer fijne kleine plectrum om mee te spelen.
Mooie scherpe punt en stijf materiaal.
Zelf vind ik de kleinere plectrums prettiger om mee te spelen dan het normale formaat.

Goed plectrum met een prettig gevoel aan de vingers. Glijdt zeer soepel over de snaren en glipt niet snel uit de vingers. Het enige probleem wat ik heb ondervonden is dat het plectrum erg klein is. Een XL vorm van dit plectrum zou prettig zijn!

Vanwege de cultstatus van de Jazz III heb ik hem ook maar gekocht om te kijken of het echt zo goed is als er bewezen wordt op internet.
De plectrum is heel klein en aan de dikke kant, waardoor je wel even moet wennen. Wat mij het meeste opviel was het gebrek aan grip, ik ben de paarse tortex plectrums gewend, die niet zomaar uit je vingers glippen. Na een paar minuten spelen voelt deze plectrum al gladdig aan. Een ander minpunt is dat door de zwarte kleur je plectrum niet zo gauw ziet liggen in koffers met donkere voering of op donkere podia.
Vergeleken met de rode "normale" Jazz III is deze plectrum een stuk harder en minder buigzaam, dit vind ik persoonlijk wel fijner, maar alsnog is dit denk ik niet helemaal mijn ding.
De service van Bax is een dikke 5/5.
