Luckily, Tama have pulled off the near-impossible and present the brilliantly affordable HH315D Speed Cobra Velo Glide hi-hat stand. Next to dependably stable, the two-legged design of this hi-hat stand is conveniently space-efficient and saves you from the fuss involved in setting up microphones and other stands near your hi-hat and snare. Not only that, if you play your kick with a double pedal, a little extra space is always a good thing to have.
The Tama HH315D Speed Cobra 315 Velo Glide Hi-Hat Stand
As with every Speed Cobra pedal, the footplate is a little longer than average and can be turned and adjusted in both directions for the right playing feel. The footplate connects to the tension rod via the double Velo Glide chain, and the ideal height can be set and saved using the fitted memory lock. In addition, the tension can be adjusted by turning the black knob on the bottom, and both legs have been double-braced to guarantee maximum strength and stability. Since a great clutch is also essential for solid grip on both the cymbal and the tension rod, Tama have finished the HH315D Speed Cobra with their tried-and-tested CL08 clutch.
