General
At the core of the Sontronics STC-3X Pack sits the adaptable STC-3X large-diaphragm microphone, and here, it comes bundled up with all the necessary performance-enhancing accessories you'll need, including a shockmount, pop-filter, and microphone cable. The STC-3X studio microphone offers three selectable polar patterns, so in most situations, you can't go wrong with the natural sound of the cardioid setting; but if you want to pick up more of the recording space, then go for the omnidirectional setting; while the figure-of-8 setting boasts an enormous attenuation value to dampen any sound coming from the sides, top and bottom. Combined with smart positioning, multiple instruments can even be recorded at the same time, even if they're in the same room.
