General
Being the Phantom 25 LED Spot's big brother, the Phantom 50 has an improved light output which makes it well suited for medium-sized venues. Despite the fact that the Phantom 50 has more extensive features than the Phantom 25, they are still compatible for use in a daisy chain, as they are fitted with the same colour filters. This way, you can easily take your setup from small to larger venues without having to completely adjust your show. If you really want the effects of the Phantom 50 to pop, you should add a bit of accentuating smoke from a smoke machine.
Showtec Phantom 50 LED Spot MKII: just that little bit extra
Of course, the Showtec Phantom 50 LED Spot MKII brings everything you might expect from a moving head. It has a pan and tilt range of 540 and 270 degrees, respectively. Gobo effects include shake and flow effects. As you might expect from Showtec, they've added more than just the basics! The gobos can easily be replaced, for instance, and you can therefore install your own customised gobos in the Phantom 50. Power can be daisy chained between multiple units, saving you from having to use countless power cables on stage or in your truss.
Combine the Phantom 25 & Phantom 50 LED Spot
As Showtec kept the basic functions for the Phantom 50 the same as for the Phantom 25, you can easily use both units in your setup. You can even use the Phantom 50 and 25 in the same daisy chain, where the Phantom 50 LED Spot serves as a Master to multiple Slave Phantom 25 LED Spots. This compatibility is quite a rarity among light effects. You'll be able to easily create a wonderful varied light show.
