General
Fender's Precision bass was a revolutionary instrument when it was first introduced back in 1951. While the instrument has remained largely the same since then, it has undergone various improvements over the years. For a long time, Fender's American Standard series set the bar, but now the American Professional series is taking over. This left-handed bass excels in just about every genre of music and comes with its own Elite Molded Hardshell case so that you can take it safely wherever you go.
American Pro Precision LH: neck and machine heads
The Precision Bass has a maple neck with a 1963 C profile that offers optimal playing comfort. For improved tuning stability and sustain, the neck is reinforced with Posiflex graphite rods and the lightweight machine heads have fluted shafts that helps to keep the string windings tight.
Pickup and sound
The solid alder body is equipped with a V-Mod Split Single-Coil pickup that was developed by expert Michael Bump. It contains a mix of different types of Alnico magnets that deliver a balanced tone that is unmistakably a Fender. The HiMass bridge adds more stability to the instrument as well as its sound. In short, this Fender American Pro Precision Bass LH is worth more than the sum of its parts.
