RME Micstasy 8-channel Preamp and AD Converter

The high-end RME Micstasy eight-channel instrument and microphone preamp doubles as an advanced analogue to digital converter. This unit can serve as an analogue microphone/line to analogue output and as a digital microphone/line to digital output where, in both cases the audio can be processed simultaneously.

This innovative concept can be applied to amplify and digitise any analogue source, including dynamic and condenser microphones, guitars, bass guitars and keyboards. Every function can be remotely controlled via MIDI or MIDI-over-MADI, and the set of eight balanced XLR mic/line inputs boast an 85 decibel gain range. In total, you're looking at eight balanced XLR/TRS jack ports, each with a Hi-Z switch and eight balanced XLR outputs and, next to all of that, the RME Micstasy supplies four AES/EBU outputs via D-sub and two ADAT inputs and outputs. Easily integrate this progressive tool into a current DAW and/or MADI rig - whether you're working on stage or in the studio.
