The MK2 version of the Launchkey 25 has had good and long run, so Novation figured it was time to take up tools and design this new and improved MK3 Series model. With better keys, three chord modes and a scale mode to keep out any out-of-tune notes, it's safe to say Novation succeeded in continuing the legacy of this famous series of MIDI keyboards. While the previous version came with a digit display, this brand-new model features a neat alphanumeric display, as well as eight encoders and sixteen pads.
The Novation LaunchKey 25 MK3: Extensive Software Pack
You might've already guessed what those pads are for: triggering clips in Ableton Live! And since a copy of Ableton Live Lite comes included, you can get started right away! In addition, you're getting a whole variety of virtual instruments, synthesizers and effects with your Launchkey 25. Spitfire Audio's Expressive Strings can be used to play beautiful bowed-string notes, XLN Audio offers four virtual keyboards, and AAS provides you with the Session Bundle packed with three amazing-sounding synths. To top it off, you're getting a handful of effects and Novation Sound Collective membership. Why? Well, why not!
