A pad-controller is a welcome addition to your desktop set-up and DAW since you can programme more organic and dynamic grooves by drumming the lines in by hand. The Presonus Atom is not just a practical tool, it's also lit up with 16 velocity and pressure sensitive, RGB LED pads and has all the feel of banging out beats on a space-ship console. All the programming buttons line the edges of the unit and 4 encoders are built-in, ideal for controlling your plug-ins. Also, just in case you want to start spitting beats straight out of the box and have no DAW software, the Presonus Atom comes with a free copy of Studio One Artist. The integration between Studio One Artist and the controller is seamless and tight, making this beat busting duo of the Presonus Atom plus software a creative force to be reckoned with!

De Atom is perfect in combinatie met Studio One voor het versnellen van het produceren van muziek. De pads zijn aanslaggevoelig en de draaiknoppen werken erg fijn bij het mixen. Kan hem iedereen aanraden
Erg compact en ik moet zeggen zeer solide gebouwd. Druk en draaiknopen voelen prima aan en zeker geen plastic dingetje om erbij te hebben maar een toppertje. De meeste druktoeten hebben een dubbele functie en dat kan zeker in het beging wat lastig zijn. ik ben er nu aan gewend en wil deze rakker niet meer kwijt.
De pad is niks te groot zodat het weinig ruimte op je bureau in neemt, maar groot genoeg voor goed speel gemak.
Grootste voordeel is de 100% perfecte integratie met Presonus Studio One.
De gevoelige pad reageren goed, al moet je ze vrij hard aanslaan voor een maximale hit. Maar dat is een kwestie van persoonlijke voorkeur.
Ik had het product besteld tewijl het 'niet op voorraad was'. Toch had ik het product al in 3 dagen in huis.

- keyboard mode kon iets uitgebreider
- afstellen gevoeligheid pads kon beter
- verwachtte wat meer mogelijkheden mbt gebruiken oa verschillende toonladders (alla Machine)
