The Fender Fatfinger is a sustain enhancer, you attach it very easily to the headstock of your guitar (or any other stringed instrument). The Fatfinger thereby adds mass to the light end of your instrument, making the strings sound louder, fuller and, above all, longer. So-called "dead spots" can be avoided by adjusting the position of the Fatfinger.
