Store the modules of a modular system in a case or frame like a 500 series lunchbox frame, which forms the base for a number of 500 series modules. An important advantage of the lunchbox concept (the name refers to its size and shape) is that the frame also provides power so the separate modules don't require external power supplies. This also means that high-quality modules don't take up much space and are more attractively priced than the larger 19-inch effects. Some frames can be mounted in a 19-inch rack. Use the outputs on the rear of the frame for connecting to your mixer. This also goes for Eurorack modules special cases. Be sure to check whether you need an external power supply or not.
