Bogner Amplification Launches Goldfinger 54 Phi Head and Combo
Every guitarist worth his salt will know of Bogner by reputation at least. These boutique tube guitar amplifiers are known for their pure, clear sound and their unique timbre. And with the arrival of the new Goldfinger amps, that sound got even more diverse!
Why choose between two pairs of power tubes?
What makes the Bogner Goldfinger 54 Phi amp so unique, is the fact that it has two pairs of power tubes. And while that's noteworthy on its own, you're even given the option to use both types simultaneously or separately! What's more, you can even choose between various power levels, which is a great feature if you often work under different circumstances. You can choose between 9, 19, 27, 33, 58 and 66 watts, respectively. Ideal for at home and on stage! The combo version of the Goldfinger 54 Phi is equipped with a Celestion 65 speaker.
Boost features controlled via foot switch and a Bax EQ
Besides these new features, the 54 Phi has much more to offer. For instance, you can easily give your solo or rhythm part some added punch by pressing the boost button on the foot switch. Not unique, you say? It is, when it also allows you the opportunity to set up your own preferences using two individual boost circuits. As if that's not enough, the Goldfinger 54 Phi also has a BAX EQ - and no, we didn't make that up. This allows you to not just create a highly balanced sound, but also to create a classic '50s or '60s sound in the blink of an eye. Add to this a spring reverb, a flat frequency Line Out that uses impulse response speaker simulator software and a buffered tube effects loop, and you'll be unstoppable!
